I've been juggling for about 16 years, and it's probably my main non-computer related hobby. I hold the current Internet record with Lisa Caselli of the Front Range Jugglers for the 'Butterfly' (technically the '2 person 3 club slow steal walkaround') routine.
A few years ago, I made my live television debut on 'AM Northwest', a local morning talk show - several of the 'No Problem, Easy Pickup' jugglers, as well as a couple of jugglers from Seattle, were invited to promote the Portland Juggling Festival. I managed to get a video of Bronwyn Maxwell and myself passing (no drops!).
More recently, I was on Portland's UPN affiliate's morning news show, helping Ben Schoenberg promote his juggling business. I'm lazy and haven't digitized any of that yet. And then more appearances. Not enough to have my own set of paparazzi following me about, though.
If Tom were to ever jump out of a perfectly fine airplane, I'm sure he'd get some photographic proof.
I'm also a theatre-type person. I've worked in professional theatre for several years, mostly as a master electrician. Since starting full-time work at Intel (and then heading off to medical school), I'm only doing theatre on the side, but have started doing lighting design in addition to electrician work. I also roped my (then future) wife into working with me on lighting design and setup. We've been doing it together ever since.
Pixel also lives at the same address I do. She enjoys bits of paper, string and chasing laser beams about the place. She's been living with me since spring of 1994. Pixel and I are also working on a cat juggling bit wherein Pixel sits on a scratching post, and I balance the resulting Pixel/post assembelage on my chin.
I also have two other cats, Cindy and Pel. Cindy is an all black cat, ~3 years old, who moved in early July, 1995. Pel is a friendly, playful kitten, also known as 'Fluffy One'. (On some occasions, she's also called "Stop licking my nose! I'm trying to go to sleep already!").
Sandy has two more cats (bringing the household total up to five!). You'll be amazed to learn that their names are Sammy and Sachet. Sandy promises she'll have her own web page up RSN, and then I'll be able to link to it, and it'll have descriptions and pictures of them. Of course, she's been saying that for a year, now. Ironic, considering she works on Intel's motherboard web team.
Pictured below are, in order, Pixel, Cindy, Pel, Sammer and Sachet.
